The Fragrance Guide, Volume Four: The Seasons

GLB+CO · The Seasonal Lookbook

What Fragrance To Wear
In Every Season

Eleven scents, sorted by the weather they come alive in, with the notes explained in plain language so you can actually decide. Every one is pheromone infused. Same fragrance, different on everyone.

Chapter One

Autumn

Cold air holds fragrance longer than warm air does, so autumn is when the warm ones finally get to work. Honey, caramel, rose. The scents that read like something baking two rooms away.

The step under all four seasons

Make It Last Longer

Fragrance evaporates off dry skin. Oil holds it. Smooth Pulse Body Oil onto damp skin after a bath or a shower, then layer whichever season you are in on top of it.

Pheromone infused like everything else in the line, and built to sit under a fragrance without competing with it. This is the step that makes the rest last.

Questions People Ask Us

The honest answers, including the ones that might talk you out of a bottle. We would rather you buy the right one once.

What is a pheromone fragrance?

It is a fragrance with pheromones blended into the formula rather than sprayed on top of it. Pheromones are naturally occurring compounds, and the reason we use them is chemistry: the blend reacts with your own skin instead of just sitting on it.

The practical result is the part people notice. The same bottle will smell slightly different on you than it does on your friend, which is why we say: same fragrance, different on everyone. You are not wearing a scent. You are wearing yours.

Does the season really change which fragrance you should wear?

Yes, and it is physics rather than fashion. Heat makes fragrance evaporate faster and project harder, so a heavy amber that feels rich in December can feel overwhelming in July. Cold air slows evaporation down, which is why warm gourmands and woods hold beautifully in autumn and winter and can go flat in the sun.

The short version: warm and heavy for cold months, fresh and fruity for hot ones, and go lighter on the sprays in summer than you think you need to.

How do I know which one is right for me?

Start with the season you are actually in, then narrow by the room you are walking into. If you want to be noticed, look at Divine or Executive. If you cannot risk being too much, look at Mystique or Belle.

If you would rather be asked a few questions, the Scent Quiz takes about a minute and points you at one. And if you still are not sure, buy the 10ml. It is the whole fragrance in a smaller bottle.

What is the difference between the 10ml and the 30ml?

Size only. The 10ml is the exact same fragrance at the exact same concentration, in a slim clear bottle with a gold spray cap. It is not a sample strip or a dab vial.

Most people use the 10ml to live with a scent for a few weeks before committing to the 30ml, and it is also the size we recommend for building a set of three so you can wear a different one depending on the day.

How long does it last?

More than 3 hours on skin, and longer on clothing. We would rather under promise that number than inflate it.

How far it carries is a different question, and the honest answer is that it depends on your body chemistry. On some people it is a walk-by scent. On others it fills the room. That is the trade off with a fragrance built to react with you rather than sit on top of you.

How do I make my fragrance last longer?

Fragrance disappears fastest off dry skin, so the single biggest thing you can do is apply it to skin that is still slightly damp, or to skin you have moisturised first. Pulse Body Oil exists for exactly this: oil holds fragrance far longer than bare skin does.

After that: spray at pulse points where you are warmest, spray one pass onto your clothing since fabric holds scent for days, and do not rub your wrists together. Rubbing crushes the top notes and shortens the whole thing.

Can I layer two together?

Yes, and it is the fastest way to make a scent that is only yours. The rule is to put the softer, warmer one down first and the brighter one on top.

Cashmere is the easiest base in the line because it is warm and sits close to the skin, so it will support almost anything. Pulse Body Oil under any of them is the other reliable combination.

Are these unisex?

Every fragrance in the line is unisex. We do not split the collection by gender, because a pheromone infused fragrance is built to react with the person wearing it, and that is the only variable that has ever really mattered.

Divine, Executive and Mystique are the ones most often described as sharp or dry. Cashmere, Belle and Vanilla & Bloom sit softer and sweeter. Pick by how you want to feel, not by the aisle.

Can I wear it in my hair?

Yes. Most body sprays are mostly alcohol, and alcohol is what leaves hair dry and brittle. Ours is formulated with a higher concentration of fragrance oils, plus aloe vera juice and specialty glycerin, to soften the effect of the alcohol.

That is what makes it wearable from root to end and not just on your skin. Hair also holds fragrance longer than skin does, so it is genuinely one of the better places to put it.

Can I return it if I do not like it?

All sales are final on fragrance. That is a hygiene standard on a product that goes on skin and in hair, and it is the same reason you cannot return an opened bottle at a counter.

It is also why we built the rest of this page. The 10ml exists so you can start small, every note is explained in plain language rather than perfume vocabulary, and the Scent Quiz is there to narrow it down. If something arrives damaged in transit, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace it.

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship within 7 to 15 business days, and up to 30 business days on pre-orders and back orders. Everything is blended and boxed by hand in small batches, so it is not an instant fulfilment operation and we would rather tell you that up front.

Shipping is free on orders over $75, which is roughly two 10ml bottles or one 30ml.

What is actually in it?

SD40B, aqua, aloe vera juice, kosher vegetable glycerin, pheromones and fragrance. Made in the USA, blended by hand in small batches, and unisex across the whole line.

Alcohol is the first ingredient, as it is in essentially every spray fragrance, because it is what carries the scent and lets it open on your skin. What we do differently is run a higher concentration of fragrance oils and add aloe and glycerin to take the edge off it.

Start With The 10ml

It is the whole fragrance, not a paper strip, and it is enough to live with a bottle for a few weeks before you commit to the 30ml. Three of them is $99.

More than 3 hours on skin and on clothing. How far it carries depends on your body chemistry. Blended by hand in small batches. Unisex. All sales final.
