Oud, if oud were warm instead of severe.
Night is smoke and resin with amber wrapped around it. It is dark, but it is not cold, and it never turns harsh the way a lot of oud does after an hour. There is a single flower in the middle of it, and its only job is to keep the whole thing from going flat and severe.
This is the easiest way into oud we make. If Divine has ever felt like too much, this is the same territory with the edges taken off, and it is far more wearable across a whole evening.
The scent over time
First spray. Bright and bitter for a moment, then it drops fast. Bergamot at the top, and the oud already coming up underneath it.
Twenty minutes in. Oud and orange blossom open together, smoke against honey. That tension is the whole fragrance, and it is the stretch people ask about.
Hours later. Amber and sandalwood on warm skin. Dark, golden and unhurried. The trail someone catches an hour after you have left the room.
What is actually in it

Oud. Dark resinous wood, smoky with something almost animal underneath it. It is the most expensive smell in perfumery and the reason this fragrance has real weight to it.

Orange blossom. The flower, not the fruit. Honeyed and white, and nothing like orange juice. It is the one bright thing in an otherwise dark composition, and without it the oud would sit flat.

Amber. Warm, golden and faintly powdery. Not a single ingredient but a feeling: resin, skin and heat held in place.

Sandalwood. Creamy soft wood, milky rather than sharp. It rounds the oud off so the base feels smooth instead of scratchy.

Bergamot. A bitter Italian citrus, closer to grapefruit than orange. It is only there for the first few minutes, and its job is to stop the opening from being too rich too fast.
Wear it, or skip it
Season. Autumn and winter. Cold air carries it properly and real heat makes it feel like a lot.
Occasion. Evenings, dinners, events, date nights, and anywhere the lights are low.
Go easy. One or two sprays, then wait ten minutes before reaching for more. It grows on the skin.
Skip it if you want oud at full strength with leather and saffron behind it. That is Divine. If you want the same commanding weight but radiant instead of dark, go to Executive.
How long it lasts
More than 3 hours on skin and on clothing. How far it carries depends on your body chemistry. On some people it is a walk-by scent, on others it fills the room.
Why this is not just another body spray
Made for your hair too. Most body sprays are mostly alcohol, and alcohol is what leaves hair dry and brittle. Ours is formulated with a higher concentration of fragrance oils, plus aloe vera juice and specialty glycerin, to soften the effect of the alcohol. That is what makes it wearable from root to end.

Make it last longer
Spray onto skin that is still slightly damp, at the pulse points where you are warmest. Add one pass to your clothing, because fabric holds fragrance for days. Do not rub your wrists together, it crushes the top notes.
For the longest wear, smooth Pulse Body Oil on first and layer Night over it. Oil holds fragrance where bare skin lets it evaporate.
