The strangest thing we have ever made, and we made it once.

Toasted sesame, cold milk and dark wood. Creamy without being sugary, warm without being a dessert, and it does not smell like anything else on a shelf anywhere. Almost nobody puts sesame in a fragrance. That is the whole reason this one exists, and it is why the people who find it stay with it.

Most gourmand fragrances are built on vanilla and sugar, and they all end up smelling like each other. This one is built on grain, milk and smoke instead. It sits so close to the skin that it reads less like a perfume and more like it is simply how you smell.

This is a limited edition. The first batch is 100 bottles, all 30ml, priced above the rest of the line, and it is not included in Build Your Own Set or any bundle. When they are gone they are gone, and we would rather tell you that plainly than pretend otherwise.

The scent over time

First spray. Nutty and strange in the best way. Toasted sesame arrives first, warm and slightly savoury, and it does not smell like any fragrance you have worn before.

Twenty minutes in. The milk and marshmallow open underneath and it turns soft. Creamy without ever going sweet, which is the trick almost no gourmand manages.

Hours later. Dark polished wood and tonka against warm skin. This is the ember in the name, and it is the part people lean in for.

What is actually in it

• Toasted sesame. Nutty, warm and a little savoury, like sesame oil warmed in a pan. Almost nobody puts this in a fragrance, and it is the single reason this one does not smell like anything else.
• Cold milk accord. Exactly what it sounds like. The smell of milk poured over cereal: creamy, soft, faintly sweet, and cold rather than warm.
• Warm marshmallow. Powdery sugar and soft steam. The smell of a marshmallow before it hits the fire, not after.
• Mahogany. Dark polished wood. An old desk, or the inside of a piano. Rich and dry, and it stops the whole thing from floating away.
• Tonka bean. Almond, hay and vanilla at the same time, with something faintly boozy behind it. It is what makes the base feel expensive rather than sugary.

Wear it, or skip it

Season. Autumn and winter. Cold air suits it, and it can turn heavy in real heat.

Occasion. Evenings, nights in, cold weekends, and any day you want to smell like the most comfortable version of yourself.

Layer it. One of the best bases in the line. Wear it under Divine or Night and it will soften both of them.

Skip it if you want something bright or fresh. It is neither, on purpose. Go to Vibes or Aura instead. If you want a sweeter, more classic gourmand, Cashmere is the one, and it is part of the set.

How long it lasts

More than 3 hours on skin and on clothing. How far it carries depends on your body chemistry. On some people it is a walk-by scent, on others it fills the room.

Why this is not just another body spray

Made for your hair too. Most body sprays are mostly alcohol, and alcohol is what leaves hair dry and brittle. Ours is formulated with a higher concentration of fragrance oils, plus aloe vera juice and specialty glycerin, to soften the effect of the alcohol. That is what makes it wearable from root to end.

Pheromone infused. Every GLB+CO fragrance is pheromone infused. It is designed to work with your own chemistry. Same fragrance, different on everyone. You are not wearing a scent. You are wearing yours.

Blended by hand in small batches.

Make it last longer

Spray onto skin that is still slightly damp, at the pulse points where you are warmest. Add one pass to your clothing, because fabric holds fragrance for days. Do not rub your wrists together, it crushes the top notes.

For the longest wear, smooth Pulse Body Oil on first and layer Milk & Ember over it. Oil holds fragrance where bare skin lets it evaporate.
